Design Challenge

Create an engaging poster design which celebrates the winter holidays, while maintaining an inclusive stance toward all students’ backgrounds.

Solution

As choral sacred music was the focus of the event, the imagery needed to address the experience of many voices combining. Winter associates with blue and dripping ice, so cool watercolor creates a suitable tone. Humanist san-serif body text (Cronos) is welcoming but neutral; the event title on the other hand connotes easily with the holidays, without looking too “Christmas-y.”
